Are there any suggested set of hard filters on lofreq indel file

Hello,
I want to analyze 1500 sample indel files and was looking for guidance and suggestions on how to filter them and ensure they are of good quality. The filtration I am looking at

1. How to separate insertion and deletion and do we need to do that?
2. What quality values range we filter them as they range from single digits to 1000s.
3. What type of filters are needed on HRUN?
   Any suggestions or readings are welcomed.
