Is it better to use Timber now since library does not update recently?

I am looking for an easy logging library for my application. I came across Timber. I did some research, and this library haven't updated recently and there are number of issues pending. I would like to raise a vote from the users are you guys recommending this to use?

The library is stable. Someone always wants your library to do a different thing, but that doesn't mean the library has to support it. Use it if you want. Don't if you don't.
