That is a very nice tool. Thank you for publishing it. May I suggest:

• Pressing n creates a new task and puts you into edit mode
• Start typing deletes the default text "New Task"
• Entering a 3 digit time, e.g. 752 automatically results in 07:52 and not 75:2 (which gets refused)
• Start time defaults to current time
• End time defaults to empty

I am not sure, if creating an issue is the right way of giving feedback. I apologize if I did it wrong.

1. That's a good idea, will note that.
2. There is "c" keybind for that already. "i" keybind is meant for corrections or typos, to not flush whole name if you wanted to just correct something
3. It's good idea, but not sure how that will behave with f.e. 12:22. Somehow I would need to differentiate if you want to either type 3 numbers or 4 depending on context. Will need to think about that
4. Yeah, that will be scheduled to v0.3 release. It may resolve in unexpected behavior when you try to add a new task after the current time, due to current sorting. Maybe there is a way to tackle them both
5. Some people prefer empty, some prefer relative close time (f.e. 1 hour later) to finish it. Will need to think about that. You still need to either type the time anyway or press "t", so I'm not sure if that will change anything
