SVG files contain extraneous curves #8

Thank you for such an amazing resource, and thank you for sharing it freely under excellently chosen licenses!
When opened in a vector graphics editing program (I have confirmed the issue in both Inkscape and Blender), all of the SVG glyph files contain an extra glyph that's outside the drawing frame. This is fine when embedding SVGs in a webpage, for example, but when trying to embed them in a vector drawing, this requires manually ungrouping, editing, then re-saving every glyph.
