File Integrity Plugin - Hash doesn't update when file is modified via SMB share

How to reproduce:

1 - create file on disk, export hashes
2 - change file contents from smb share, export hashes
3 - hashes are the same which causes the modified file to be reported as corruption

This obviously doesn't happen when the file is modified within the unraid e.g. with nano.

Is this a known issue?
