Request: Support for Windows 7
Description
Hello,
I really like the look and features of FileExplorer, but currently it seems to only work on newer versions of Windows.
When I try to run it on Windows 7 (SP1, x64), it either does not launch or throws compatibility errors.
Steps to Reproduce
- Download the latest release of FileExplorer.
- Install/run on Windows 7 SP1 (x64).
- Observe that the application does not start or shows an error.
What I Expected Behavior
The app should at least start and allow basic navigation on Windows 7, even if some modern features are disabled.
Actual Behavior
- Application does not open at all.
- Fails prematurely
System Information
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 x64 (fully updated)
- .NET / Runtime: (please specify if known)
- FileExplorer Version: (latest release)
Additional Context
I understand Windows 7 is no longer officially supported by Microsoft, but there are still many users on older systems who would appreciate compatibility.
If full support is not possible, perhaps a legacy build or a lightweight version without modern dependencies could be considered.
Thanks for your great work on this project!
