Hello everyone :) I’ve noticed that Wi‑Fi support on X4 processors is quite a mess. For some people it works, for others it doesn’t. Unfortunately, I’m among the unlucky ones.
After some (or not so long) searching, I managed to identify my chip, chipset, and driver. I don’t know C at all, and I’m also a Linux beginner. But I would be extremely grateful if someone could help.
I found the required driver in CoreELEC. Here’s the link: https://github.com/CoreELEC/ap6xxx-aml/tree/5.15.170/bcmdhd.100.10.545.x
The problem is that CoreELEC uses kernel 5.4.210, while this system runs on kernel 6.18.0.
I don’t know how to port it, but I’m ready to help with testing if someone takes on the task. Thanks in advance!
