Thanks. that worked well. Why don't you fork it? your mods here in the issue tracker would get more traffic if they were titled "Mod" or "fork" rather than "Hack" I just skimmed by the "hack" title. ;-)

@grantiago tbh I didn't have the time to create a fork + modifications. Because the repo version is also outdated. The latest version is on the website, which has a lot of differences. It would be necessary to create a complete new version and then commit the updates to the fork. Also I do not have the unminified js files of the latest version, which makes everything even more complicated. However I'm aware and will do that as soon as I have a bit more time. This was just a quick fix...to provide a better and more stable version based on the things that i manually integrated over the last months. To make everything right it would be also necessary to replace the plugin update URL to not rely on the old one because I do not trust it...
