This is a known compatibility issue between Dify and Ollama 0.12.9 (and all Ollama versions ≥0.1.47). Ollama changed its streaming API to separate the reasoning ("thinking") and final answer ("response") fields. Dify's current Ollama integration only processes the "response" field and ignores the new "thinking" field, so the thought process is not displayed—even if "thinking mode" is enabled in your settings. To restore the thought process display, the Ollama provider in Dify needs to be updated to map the "thinking" field from Ollama's API response to Dify's This affects all Dify versions when used with Ollama 0.1.47 and above. If you need the thought process display urgently, you can try downgrading Ollama or patching the Dify Ollama provider/backend as described in the linked issue. To reply, just mention @dosu. I suddenly realized that the thought process is no longer being displayed during dialogues; I've already enabled the thinking mode in the model settings.

dify version: 1.6 & 1.10.0 , both the version are the same problem
I recently upgraded the Ollama version to 0.12.9. I am uncertain whether this is an issue with Ollama itself, but direct testing of Q&A on Ollama produces output with a reasoning process.
