Hi @ashr123, I noticed that over the past few years you open a discussion almost every time a new OpenJDK major release is made. I appreciate that enthusiasm but I kindly ask you to refrain from doing so.

Homebrew detects new upstream releases fairly quickly so you don't need to worry about missing OpenJDK releases. If you don't see the expected OpenJDK update, it will be because Homebrew maintainers and contributors are working to fix issues that prevent them from delivering it to everyone. And if you want to make that faster, you can help by searching for the PR titled "openjdk <version>" in Homebrew/homebrew-core and fixing some of the problems listed there.

past releases it took months to solve issues and I’m happy it’s not the case with this version, and honestly I wouldn’t open a discussion if I found out of this PR, I actually searched for one, my mistake

Discussions like this actually make it much less likely to get a version merged.

There are very few things that are more demotivating as a maintainer than volunteering time to improve something and having others yell from the sidelines that you must volunteer more time or work faster, without putting in any effort themselves.
