TMC workspace not opening

Pressing the "open workspace" button doesn't do anything in the Ohjelmoinnin MOOC 2025

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to My courses Ohjelmoinnin MOOC 2025
2. Click the Open workspace button
3. Nothing happens

Expected behavior
It is expected for the workspace to open

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
• VSCode Version 1.99.3
• TMC Extension Version 3.3.0

Additional context

VScode was force stopped before this problem arose. Worked the first time when TMC was run. Tried reinstalling and starting the workspace manually.

Sorry for the late response. If you're still having this issue, could you try setting the Log Level to verbose in the extension settings and trying again?

Have you opened any exercises in the extension menu? If you open the explorer in VSCode (the icon with two sheets of paper in the top right), do you see the course name there, like this?

There was no workspace open.

I see, can you try opening the workspace at /home/user/.config/Code/User/globalStorage/moocfi.test-my-code/workspaces/mooc-ohjelmointi-2025.code-workspace manually?

If it doesn't work, it may be that there's some issue with how the workspace file is created or maybe it has been corrupted after creation. In that case, you can delete the file safely and the extension will recreate it, though it would be helpful if you could copy its contents before that and share them here.

If it does work, then I'm not really sure what the problem could be...

I tried removing the file and letting the extrnsion recreate it but the problem was not fixed. The reinstallation was after this.
