Make _CPWindowView and related API public

It's very common task to customize window appearance nowdays (custom background, custom title, custom grabber, etc)

_CPWindowView is the ideal place for such customizations

API should be extended to allow you to:

• specify "movable" parts of window
• specify "resizable" parts of window
• add custom title bar

Hmm. _CPWindowView is internal API. Wouldn't it make more sense to set theming attributes on the CPWindow itself? The CPWindow could take care to apply them to the window view.

It's not an easy problem since there are different window styles. But I think we'd need:

• "resize-indicator-color"
• "resize-indicator-size"
• "resize-indicator-offset"
• "toolbar-offset"
• "toolbar-label-color"
• "close-button-image" (standard, highlighted)
• "unsaved-close-button-image" (standard, highlighted)
• "minimize-button-image" (standard, highlighted)

Now beyond that it gets a little trickier because the different window styles obvious have different theming requirements. The window might have a gradient behind the toolbar and finish in a solid colour, etc. Not sure how that'd be handled well by theming.

Most likely we'd have to try to come up with theme attributes which work for the standard windows, and then anyone wanting to do something fancier would have to subclass CPWindow.

I think we also need the "title-view" attribute + the base class CPWindowTitleView.

Maybe a window should just have a single "bezel-color" for the background and then all the standard windows are actually subclasses. So you can't actually recreate the "standard" windows through theming alone, you need to subclass as well, and this is just simply caused by the need for flexibility with gradients and so on.

But if you want to create a window which is actually simpler than the regular windows, with no resizable or toolbar size dependent gradients, you can just throw a 9-part image in there and set some kind of flag to indicate you don't want the regular subclasses for window drawing to kick in.
