XML highlighting misses last character of text to highlight

If I choose XML highlighting for a text area there is always one character missing.

I'm using LibreOffice 6.0.7.3 with Code Highlighter 1.3

I checked the behaviour again and actually it does not miss a character. It only starts to highlight at the wrong index.
