Linux64 build fails

./configure && make fails at this step on Ubuntu:

make: *** [Makefile:658: config.status] Error 2

Commenting out the AC_CHECK_COMPILE block fixes this temporarily.

I think you just need to install autoconf-archive, see urbit/vere#524. If so, that shouldn't be noted in the instructions here.
