This is based on the format suggested/requested by btc news to be published on Wed. Dec. 17, the day they release the article. The bit at the end about their parter is a little annoying but at least it's to a bitcoin only wallet so I don't mind doing it to help them out since they took the time to do this nice interview about BDK.

"Bitcoin Development Kit Featured in Bitcoin News Interview
We recently joined Bitcoin News for a friendly conversation about Bitcoin Development Kit’s origins, mission, and where we’re headed. Steve Myers shared how BDK grew from an early side project into a cross-platform foundation, powering wallets and Bitcoin applications across the ecosystem.
The chat also covered BDK’s open-source philosophy, support for layer 2s, and how developers use BDK to ship safer, more flexible Bitcoin products, without reinventing core infrastructure. Check out the full conversation to hear the complete story behind BDK, its real-world impact, and what’s coming next.
