Summary

  • move the Rust engine into and add a wrapper crate
  • add a top-level Cargo workspace that includes the Rust crates and Python binding
  • relocate Python persistence tests under
  • update README instructions to reflect the new tree and test paths

Testing

  • ~/.cargo/bin/cargo test -p lance-context-core
  • python/.venv/bin/python -m pytest python/tests/test_persistence.py
