ElementalWarriorWine-10.16-8d61f4c3735-x86_64
This pre‑release packages the ElementalWarrior Wine 10.18‑winmd fork built for testing Affinity Suite compatibility on Linux.
https://gitlab.winehq.org/ElementalWarrior/wine/-/blob/wine-10.18-winmd/README.md?ref_type=heads
Current status
Installs and runs as expected using rum + custom prefix.
Sign‑in issues and Settings save/persist issues remain unresolved in this build.
I may have missed a configuration detail, but these problems appear to persist even with the new WinMD implementation.
I have no idea why it keeps showing up as 10.16 if this is based on 10.18.
Included
wine‑install build (WOW64 enabled, CFLAGS = gnu99)
Example prefix structure with WinMetadata pre‑provisioned
Optional runner directory scaffold (~/.affinity‑wine/runner)
Ready for use with:
rum affinity‑wine‑10.16 ~/.affinity‑wine/prefix wine <path_to_exe>
Testing suggested
Community testing is encouraged.
Focus areas: Sign‑in, Settings saving, and Affinity V2+ startup consistency.
If you find a configuration tweak or patch that fixes those behaviours, please open an issue or discussion thread with details.
